Alpha Antley

Graveside service for Mrs. Alpha Alyene Antley will be held on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, at New Bethel Cemetery in Arcadia, Louisiana.

Alpha was born on December 4, 1932, in Gravity, Arkansas to Luther and Alma Beyard. She entered into rest on June 26, 2026, at her home in Arcadia, Louisiana.

Alpha was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She never met a stranger, loved everyone, and never judged a soul. She loved to go fishing, classic country music, drawing flower baskets, and cooking (especially for her family. She was also a fashionista. There are clothes that have been in her closet for 40 years, with the tags still on. But her greatest love in life though was her family, who she cherished.

Preceding Alpha is her husband, David F. Antley, parents, Luther and Alma Beyard, daughter Sharon B. Williams, sons Charles Blair and Wendell Blair, grandson Jim Blair, and daughter-in-law Anita Blair.

Left to cherish her memories are her son, Lonnie Blair, daughters, Marilyn Blair and Pamela Blair Jackson and husband Clyde, brother, Ocie Beyard, grandchildren, Christina Lopez and spouse Jason, Sophia McCready, Beth Blair, Melissa Williams, Jake Williams, Joe Hood and spouse Lauren, Angela Smith and spouse David, and Terri Weir and spouse Cole, great grandchildren, Trinton Gilbert and partner, Dylan Wood and spouse Halie, Judith McCready, Ashlynn Evans, Julia Ingram, Silas McCready, Eleanor McKinley, Enoch McCready, Maddie Jackson, and by numerous other great-great grandchildren and loving family members.
