Allen "Al" Bechner

Mansfield, LA - Funeral services honoring the life of Allen "Al" Bechner, 80, will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 20, 2018 at Rose-Neath's Chapel in Mansfield, LA with Reverend Thumper Miller officiating. Burial will follow at Rockdale Cemetery in Mansfield, LA. The family will receive friends at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Mansfield, LA on Friday, October 19, 2018 from 5:00 till 9:00 PM. Al was born on March 10, 1938 in New Ulm, Minnesota to Carl and Eleanor Reed Bechner and entered into rest on October 12, 2018 in Mansfield, LA. Preceding Al in death were his parents, Carl and Eleanor Bechnor; his wife of 55 years, Nancy Lee Bechner; son, Alan Dale Bechner; granddaughter, Alisha Lynn Ostheimer, and siblings, Mike, David, Dickey, Bruce, Clem, Bonnie, and Jay. Those left behind to cherish his memory are his sons, Steven Bechner and wife Jennifer of Corinth, TX, Patrick "PJ" Bechner and wife Amy of Carrolton, TX; daughter, Denise Reynolds and husband Daniel "Boone" of Mansfield, LA; sisters, Sharon and Christine; grandchildren, John Bechner and wife Rachel, Joshua Bechner, Brandy Canizaro, Grace Bechner, Christian Bechner and great-grandchildren, Harmony Raelynn, Jacob Michael, Taylor Lee, Kaley Paige, and Angelina Marie.
