Allen D. Johnson

Born May 22nd 1925, died August 23rd 2021. Preceded in death by parents, Duffy A Johnson and Connie Horn Johnson. Sisters, Vadere Shahan and Era Johnson, and brother Herman Johnson. First wife, Tommie Clarke Johnson. Survived by from first union, daughters; Anise, Margaret, and son, Cary. Grandchildren; Troy and Chris (Heather). Great grandchild, Madison. Survived by from second union, wife Wanda Johnson. Children; BJ and John (Wendy). Grandchildren; Bradley (Randi), Amanda (Keeth), Sara, Jim Anna (George), and Jonathan. Six great grandchildren. Affectionately know as "Pop" to his family. Pop loved sitting on his porch enjoying the peacefulness of, and fishing, the Sabine River. After his retirement from Texaco, he and Wanda traveled most of the US states, Canada, and especially loved Alaska. He enjoyed telling jokes to his grandchildren. Joe served as a paratrooper in the 82nd Army Airborne division during WWII. Member of the American Legion Post 157 where he served as a commander, and other offices. Pop will be thoroughly missed by all his family and friends.
