Alice Faye Bailey

A "Celebration of Life" Service for Alice Faye Bailey, 82, will be held on Saturday, June 13, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2500 Southside Dr., Shreveport, Louisiana. Officiating the service will be Pastor Denny Duron.

Faye was born on January 11, 1944, in West Monroe, Louisiana to Obie and Juanita Hammons and passed away on Friday, May 29, 2026 in Shreveport.

Faye was a resident of Shreveport. She graduated from Fair Park High School in 1961 and BPCC Culinary School in 2007. She was a loyal fan of the Evangel Eagles Football Team, LSU Baseball Team, and NASCAR. Her favorite team, though, was her family, which she adored, particularly her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Faye was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Lester Hammons; and grandson, Matthew Wyatt. Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Tina Bullard and husband, Jeff, and Rae Ann Johnson; grandchildren, Anita Buford, Andy Bullard and wife, Casey, and Richard Blackwood, Jr.; great-grandchildren, Aiden Hoffman, Kynslee Wyatt, Kate Ptaszek; and sister, Linda Byrd and husband, Bill.

Faye will be terribly missed, but we will always cherish our time together and the memories made.
