Albert was married to the sweetest wife for 69 years and family came first. He was a successful and loved electrical contractor that treated everyone fair and taught many electricians how to work. Albert was an animated storyteller, there was never anyone in his company left unamused if he could help it. Anytime someone would visit he would drop what he was doing and have a witty conversation. He even had an international checker tournament named in his honor and loved using his intellect to become one of the greatest master level checker players. Family vacations almost always were to a checker tournament or a bluegrass festival. Albert was nicknamed Horsecollar by buddies at Minden Pines Hill Country Club whom he would challenge daily. He was a faithful member of First Baptist Church and loved the Sonrisers and Chapel Sunday School class.

Preceded in death by his parents John Frank Tucker and Thelma Tucker Stringfellow, siblings, Herbert Tucker (Fay Ruth), Boyce Wayne Tucker (Patsy), Mary Louise Squyres (Darrell), and granddaughter, Catherine Tucker.
