Aida Cang Tablante

Aida Cang Tablante was born on June 26, 1945 in the Philippines and passed away on September 17, 2026 in Shreveport, Louisiana.

She was the beloved wife of the late Dr. Liberty Tablante. She worked in the clinic of her husband in West Virginia, where she selflessly supported his work and cared for so many.

Aida had a zest for life and found joy in the simple and meaningful things- traveling to new places, enjoying good food, shopping, and especially playing mahjong. She cherished time with family and friends, and her warmth, kindness, and sense of humor touched everyone who knew her.

She is survived by her brother, Herbert Cang, and is reunited in heaven with her brothers, Roy Cang and Cary Cang, along with many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends who will always hold her in their hearts.

Her love, laughter, and generous spirit will be dearly missed.

A visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 26, 2026 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 1815 Marshall St., Shreveport, Louisiana. A memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m., officiated by Father Mark Watson.
