Adrienne Gambal

A graveside service for Adrienne Gambal, 82, will be held 11:00 a.m. Sunday, April 24, 2022 at Beulah Cemetery, 2279 Hwy 487, Marthaville, Louisiana. Adrienne was born December 13, 1939 in Shreveport, Louisiana to Jim Davenport and Kathleen Younger Davenport and passed away on April 21, 2022. Adrienne is a graduate of Fair Park High School class of 1958. Her first job was at a print shop in Shreveport. She learned to type and take shorthand. Adrienne married the love of her life Edward Gambal on June 24, 1961. They had three children and traveled abroad with the United States Air Force. She was an avid reader and a huge history buff. She is going to be greatly missed by all. Adrienne is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Edward Gambal; daughter, Anita Gambal Ainsworth; sisters, Elain, Melethel, Kathleen, Patricia, Hannah; brothers, Jimmy and Charles. She is survived by her sons, Michael Gambal and wife, Jada, Christopher "Chris" Gambal; grandchildren, Steven Gambal and wife, Kaylee, Jamon Gambal, Matthew Gambal and wife, Hannah, Mary Kathryn Ainsworth, Rebekah Gambal, Hannah Gambal; and great-grandson, Carter Gambal. Honoring Adrienne as pallbearers will be Michael Gambal, Christopher Gambal, Steven Gambal, Jamon Gambal and Matthew Gambal. In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Pl, Memphis, TN 38105.
