Acy J. Cooper, Sr.

Funeral services for Acy Cooper, Sr. of Bordelonville, will begin at 12:00pm on Tuesday, August 23^rd at Kilpatrick’s Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Marksville. Burial will follow at the St. Joseph’s No. 2 Cemetery in Marksville.

Acy Cooper, Sr., age 86, passed away on Friday, August 19, 2022 at Valley View Nursing Home in Mansura.

          Those left to cherish his memory are his wife Carolyn Cooper of  Bordelonville; son, Acy Cooper, Jr.; of Venice, Louisiana; daughter, Penny Couvillion of Virginia Beach, Virginia; two step-sons, Salvador and Ray Cepriano both of Venice, Louisiana; One step-daughter, Sandy Cepriano of Venice, Louisiana and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his Father, Abe Cooper; Mother, Winnie Dupree; son, Calvin Cooper; brother, Henry Cooper, Sr.; and step-brother, Paul Gaspard.

A visitation will begin at 8:00am until time of service at 12:00pm at Kilpatrick’s Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Marksville.
